AWESOME!, February 4, 2011
By LadyLO
This is awesome!! I love the watch and the features. It has an alarm; hourly beep notification; timer, stopwatch. You can choose what your watch displays. The day/date time/seconds, etc!! At the time I ordered the watch I was deployed overseas and it took less than 10 days for it to get to me. I saw this same watch on Walmart for 17.00 and got it on Amazon for 12.00!!

Thought I found a good sports watch, boy was I wrong!, January 23, 2011
By OnQ 4U (Oklahoma)
The price and some nice, but "temporary" features is what gives this watch 2 stars. Other than that it would have to be "0". I know for $12.92 what can one expect in a watch, but after having and wearing this watch for 3 months, the display went totally bye-bye! Totally gone, totally useless! It is suppose to be water-resistant, but apparently not fog-resistant. This watch was never under water in any way, in the bathtub or shower, but it would fog under the crystal display when in high humidity weather or from hanging over the kitchen sink while doing dishes, etc., and I mean well above the sink and it would still fog considerably under the crystal display. So, I'm not sure what they mean by water-resistant, because it is not. Can't imagine how long it would have lasted if I actually had it under water. So, this has been my second Timex sports watch in less than a year, and both have given up electronically. Not a good track record in my book, and definitely not even worth the $12.95. I guess unless Timex feels $12.92 and three months to disposal, which is the case with this watch.

Good Enough for the Money, January 10, 2011
By FriscoMom
I bought one of these (the unisex in orange) for my eight-year-old son so that he could time himself when he runs his two miles. I liked it so much that I got this one in pink for myself. I am not a serious runner, so I don't need great precision above thirty minutes. Also, I was more concerned about how it felt on my arm, (not too dainty and not too bulky), and that it works when I am in the pool. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the instructions aren't the best. However, considering the $13.50 I paid for the watch, I am more than convinced I got my money's worth.

VERY stiff buttons. Beware., January 6, 2011
By Donald Gillies "secretbearer" (San Diego, CA United States)
I got this for my son. Of all ~12 timex ironman watches I have owned in my lifetime, this has the very stiffest buttons. They leave a red mark on your fingers when you finally push hard enough to operate them!!! I won't even bother to set this watch for my son, i'll only touch it if I need to turn off the alarm at 4:00 AM. THE WORST USER INTERFACE OF ALL MY TIMEX WATCHES.

It's good if you don't plan to push the buttons !!!

start stop button easy to bump, January 4, 2011
By DJ MAGGI
I just bought this watch to use as a countdown timer for bike racing. It is easy to use and read, but what i realize is that the location of the start/split button is easy to bump. It was stopped when I didn't want it to be and I had to restart it. The next time I looked at it it was stopped again. Not good when you're trying to time something. I tried four times and each time I looked at it it was stopped. I think for running it is probably fine, but for activities where it might get bumped it's no good. I am going to try to take it back and get something with a start/reset button that is more difficult to bump.

Love it!, January 2, 2011

First, let me say I am a watch fanatic, I must have about 15. Since I wear suits and some of my more "fancy" watches to work everyday, I bought this watch for weekend wear. I love it! The colors are much prettier in person than on the screen - the silver is very shiny, which is clearly not depicted here. I would wear it everyday if it didn't clash with my suits! Plus, with a Timex, you know you can count on quality.

Excellent value for a teen watch, tho' can't turn beep off, January 1, 2011
By K. Margolese
I purchased this watch for my 13 year old. She loves the watch and find it meets all of her timing needs. The only annoying feature is that there is a 'beep' every time any button is pushed and nowhere in the directions does it say how to turn the beep off. Overall all a great value for an everyday watch.

Pretty useful timex, December 30, 2010

Easy to set, reasonable price. The alarm sound is not as loud as I would like. Good for light sleepers.

simple but good, December 29, 2010
By Cindy
I had a watch just like this in a different color that I use to time my runs. I don't need anything very complicated, and so I didn't want to pay a lot for bells and whistles that I wouldn't really use. This year, my sister wanted a watch for when she goes running, and so I got her the same model as mine for Christmas -- it's very simple, but works well.
